The Mews & Stable Complex

The Mews and Stable complex is located south of the house. It is a three-sided courtyard lined in bluestone. The cement rendered brick buildings once contained stables, a coach house, a forage shed and quarters for gardeners, the blacksmith, and grooms. The complex is unique for its large size and is one of the best preserved Mews complexes in Australia. Accordingly, it is entered separately on the Register of the National Estate.
