The Billiard Room
The Billiard Room is located in the centre of the House and can be accessed from both the State Rooms and the Private Apartments. It is used for a variety of purposes, including as a waiting room, a meeting room and an alternate dining space when required.
The octagonal timber-lined roof is a distinctive feature of the room. V-jointed boards slope upwards to form a roof lantern providing natural light. Portraits of all the former Governors of Victoria and their spouses line this room.
The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC attended the Australian Formula One Grand Prix at Albert Park.
