The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received the Hon. Shaun Leane MLC, President of the Legislative Council. The Governor then addressed a reception to celebrate the enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, at the Consulate-General of Japan.
The Hon. Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC attended the Melbourne Cricket Club President’s Function for the Geelong Cats v Essendon game.
The Hon. Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, received the call of Mr Tim Dillon, Commissioner for Victoria to China.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, hosted a Female Entrepreneurs Roundtable.
The Governor, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, then reopened the Old Quadrangle at The University of Melbourne, before they hosted a dinner for Victorian community members.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, conducted a swearing in ceremony for Justice Jacinta Mary Forbes.
The Governor then received the Hon. Ms Woo-Jin Pi, Minister for Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and Mr Sunghyo Kim, Consul General, Republic of Korea.
The Governor and Mr Howard hosted a reception for Australian Schools Plus.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosting the Opening Ceremony of the International Jazz Day.
The Governor received Mr Simon Newnham, Australian Ambassador for APEC.
The Governor and Mr Howard attended the Welcome for the Hon. Justice McEvoy at the Family Court of Australia before attending the International Jazz Day All Star Global Concert.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, welcomed Term 2 Peace and Prosperity Kitchen Garden Program participants, before the Governor received the call of Prof. Jane den Hollander AO, Vice-Chancellor Deakin University.
Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for the Probus Club of Malvern.

The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, signed the condolence book for the victims of the Sri Lankan terror attack while visiting the Sri Lankan Consulate.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, participated in the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Shrine of Remembrance. They then hosted an ANZAC Day Breakfast. The Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, participated in the ANZAC Day March and Commemoration Service at the Shrine of Remembrance, before attending the ANZAC Day AFL Match.
