Notes on the program of the Governor of Victoria.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, recorded an interview for International Women’s Day with Triple M, before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosting an International Women’s Day reception for the students of Wesley College Dessau House. The Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, then addressed the ‘Change Our Game’ networking lunch.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received the call of Mr Mario Farrugia Borg, Consul General of Malta.
The Governor then delivered an address at the National Ageing Research Institute’s International Women’s Day Lunch at Coombe Cottage.
The Governor was represented by Ms Alisia Romanin at the State Funeral for the Hon. William Landeryou.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, installed Mr Terry Moran AC as the sixth Chancellor of Federation University Australia. The Governor later received the call of Major Brendan Nottle, The Salvation Army.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council before, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosting a reception in celebration of the Children First Foundation’s 20th Anniversary.
The Governor then attended the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival Runway Show One.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosted a lunch with Peace and Prosperity Kitchen Garden Program participants.
The Governor and Mr Howard then received Ms Stephanie Alexander AO, Founder, and Ms Josephene Duffy, CEO, Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended the Australian International Airshow and Aerospace and Defence Exposition.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, officially opened the Music Precinct at Firbank Grammar.
The Governor received Prof James Raymond, President, International Institute for Legal Writing and Reasoning, before, with Mr Howard, hosting a lunch for the Stella Prize.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, presented the uniforms to Victorian athletes from Special Olympics Team Australia at the MCG, before they welcomed Peace and Prosperity Kitchen Garden Scarecrow Program Participants.
Later they visited the Mirka Mora exhibition at Heide Gallery of Modern Art.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council before, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, officially opening the St Catherine’s Junior School.
The Governor received the call of Mr Raymond Fan, Director, and Ms Winnie Chan, Deputy Director, Hong Kong Economic Trade Office.
The Governor and Mr Howard then hosted the 2019 Australian International Airshow Reception and dinner.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received Professor Duncan Maskell, Vice Chancellor, the University of Melbourne before receiving HE Paul Gulleik Larsen, Ambassador of Norway. The Governor addressed the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office Chinese New Year Reception. Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for Gleneagles Secondary College. They then hosted a dinner in honour of Major General Ido Nehushtan (Ret’d) and Mrs Orna Nehushtan.
