Notes on the program of the Governor of Victoria.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC received Mr Damien Mulvihill and Mr Mark Simpson, Creative Directors, DesignOffice Melbourne, winners of the IDEA Designer of the Year 2018, and designers of The Melbourne Pavilion at Hong Kong Business of Design Week.
The Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, delivered the keynote address at the 2018 Melbourne High School Speech Night.
Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for members of HoMie.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC received the call of Ms Harinder Sidhu, Australia's High Commissioner to India.
They then received HE Mr Ram Nath Kovind, President of India, and Mrs Savita Kovind, First Lady of India, before hosting a State Lunch in their honour.
In the morning, HRH The Duke of York KG departed Government House.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, then launched The Smith Family's 2018 Christmas Appeal, before attending, with Mr Howard, Thanksgiving Dinner, hosted by the US Consul General, Mr Michael and Mrs Hiroko Kleine.

The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, delivered a tribute on behalf of the people of Victoria at the State Funeral of Mr Sisto Malaspina.
The Governor later received HRH The Duke of York KG, before hosting, with Mr Howard, Pitch@Palace On Tour Melbourne.

The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, addressed the Victorian Country Press Association Annual Conference.
Later, the Governor received Mr Ewan McEoin, Senior Curator, Contemporary Design and Architecture NGV, before, with Mr Howard, hosting the 2018 Churchill Fellowship Awards.
Later, they attended the Olympians Club of Victoria Gala Dinner.
The Administrator, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted a reception for the 2018 Centenarians before the Administrator, accompanied by Mr Howard, addressed the Probus Club of Melbourne.
The Administrator received Mr Aharon Aharon, CEO Israel Innovation Authority, Mr Avi Luvton, Senior Director and Mr Shai Zarivatch, Israel Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Israel.
In the evening the Governor ceased the administration of the government of the Commonwealth of Australia.
The Administrator, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received Mr Andrew Abbott, Deputy Secretary, and Mr Michael Hudson, Director, Creative Victoria, before, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosting a lunch with Professor Clare Wright, historian, and Mr Damien Wright, Ms Seri Renkin, Chair Stella Prize, and Mr Daniel Bessell.
The Administrator and Mr Howard, accompanied by the Hon. Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted an afternoon tea for members of the Rats of Tobruk. Later, the Administrator and Mr Howard hosted a reception for the 75th Anniversary of the Dafydd Lewis Trust Scholarship.
The Administrator, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received the call of Mr Lewis Martin, Managing Director Seven Network, and then Professor Sharon Lewin, Director Doherty Institute.
The Administrator, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, then hosted a reception for World Diabetes Day. Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for staff & volunteers of Coombe Estate.
