The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, provided Royal Assent before presiding at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Then, the Governor commenced a Regional Tour, travelling to Ararat Rural City.

While on an Official Visit to Ararat Rural City, the Governor received a briefing from the Ararat Rural City Council.
