The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received His Excellency Mr Sumio Kusaka, Japanese Ambassador to Australia.
Then, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, the Governor hosted an Emergency Services Christmas Lunch.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received Mr Tony Elwood AM, Director of the NGV.
Later, the Governor, as Patron, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, volunteered making Christmas packages at the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received the call of Ms Helen Kapalos, Victorian Multicultural Commissioner, before the Governor swore in Ms Bridget Noonan as Clerk of the Legislative Assembly of the Parliament of Victoria.
The Governor then received the call of Mr Warwick Gately, Victorian Electoral Commissioner and Ms Liz Williams, Deputy Electoral Commissioner who returned the writs for the 2018 Victorian State Election.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted the Royal Humane Society of Australasia Bravery Awards.
Later, the Governor presented the Royal Society of Victoria 2018 Research Medal for Excellency before, with Mr Howard, hosting a dinner for the Premier and the Cabinet.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, attended the Worawa Aboriginal College Presentation Day.
Later, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a round table and a reception to launch the 2019 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, farewelled Her Excellency Mrs Menna Rawlings CMG, British High Commissioner to Australia.
The Governor then received Mr Joey Borensztajn, President, Australian Friends of Yad Vashem.
Mr Howard, as Patron in Chief, attended the Lighthouse Foundation Community Celebration.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted the Peace and Prosperity Kitchen Garden reception before they attended the swearing in of the Hon. Justice William Alstergren and the Hon. Justice Robert McClelland, as Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the Family Court of Australia.
They hosted a Science Public Lecture, and then a dinner with Her Excellency, Mrs Menna Rawlings CMG, British High Commissioner.
The Hon Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, and Mr Anthony Howard QC returned to Victoria.
During at Official Visit to Hong Kong, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, spoke at the AustCham Hong Kong Breakfast, before they attended a Greater Bay Area lunch meeting.
They visited the Hong Kong Science and Tech Park, and then attending the Hong Kong Business of Design Week Gala Dinner, where the Governor gave an address.
On an Official Visit to Hong Kong, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, toured the Business of Design Week Exhibits with the Hon. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor GMB GBS, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, addressed the Business of Design Week Opening and launched The Melbourne Pavilion. They attended a lunch hosted by the Australian Consul-General to Hong Kong, Ms Michaela Browning.
Later, the Governor met with Professor Eric Yim Chi-ming JP, Chairman of the Hong Kong Design Centre and then, accompanied by Mr Howard, attended the opening of The Mills Precinct.
