The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council; hosted a reception for the 2015 Century Club; and presided at a private investiture of Mr John Hamilton AM in Sandringham. Later, the Governor accompanied by Judge Howard attended the Short Black Opera's 5th anniversary concert at Melbourne Recital Centre.
The Governor received the Hon. Daniel Andrews MP, Premier of Victoria and later received Mr Tony Beddison AO, Chairman of the Prince’s Charities Australia.
The Governor and Judge Howard attended the 2015 Toyota AFL Grand Final at the MCG.
The Governor presented awards to the AFL State Volunteers of the Year and the AFL State Multicultural Ambassadors of the Year and hosted a morning reception for volunteers.
The Governor met with Mr Chris Eccles, Secretary Department of Premier and Cabinet; hosted a reception for students participating in the University of Melbourne Indigenous PhD Familiarisation Program; and also hosted the 2015 Victorian Senior of the Year Awards. Later, the Governor toured the Monash Centre for Additive Manufacturing; and also toured the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The Governor received calls from Professor Glyn Davis AC, Vice-Chancellor of The University of Melbourne; the Hon. Tim Pallas MP, Treasurer of Victoria; and received HM the Governor of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The Governor also met with Professor Tim Entwisle, Chief Executive of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and toured the gardens. Later; the Governor hosted the 2015 Governor of Victoria Export Awards.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council; and visited the Burnet Institute. The Governor also attended the 2015 Carbine Club AFL Grand Final Luncheon and read the Game Day Announcements. In the evening, the Governor and Judge Howard volunteered with the St Vincent de Paul Society's food van programme in Fitzroy. Captain Nikki Maikousis ADC represented the Governor and Judge Howard at the 2015 National Police Remembrance Day March and Ceremony.
The Governor received a call from Mr Andrew Jaspen, Director of The Conversation; and later, together with His Honour Judge Anthony Howard, attended the 2015 Brownlow Medal Vote Count at Crown Melbourne.
His Honour Judge Anthony Howard visited the Red Cross of Victoria premises as Patron of their organisation.
