The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, departed Government House for a regional visit to the Surf Coast Shire.

While visiting the Surf Coast Shire, the Governor and Mr Howard visited the Australian Wool Museum, before laying a wreath at the Point Danger ANZAC War Memorial. Later, the Governor and Mr Howard received a briefing by the Surf Coast Shire Council, and a briefing on the CORA sports precinct development, before attending a roundtable with community members and representatives of local organisations.

Later, the Governor and Mr Howard visited local surf shops, and received a briefing on the surf industry.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, before receiving the initial call of His Excellency, Mr Babar Amin, High Commissioner of Pakistan, and Mrs Uzma Babar.

Later, the Governor, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosted a lunch for the Koorie Heritage Trust Board, before the Governor hosted a swearing-in ceremony for the Hon. Maree Kennedy and the Hon. Michael Osborne QC.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, visited the Australian Tapestry Workshop.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, laid a wreath at the Hellenic War Memorial, before receiving the virtual call of His Excellency, The Hon. Ridwan Kamil, Governor of West Java.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, received the virtual call of Ms Rebecca Hall, Victorian Commissioner to South East Asia, before, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, officially opening the Deakin University Law Building.

Later the Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, spoke at the State Memorial Service for Mr Michael Gudinski AM.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, received the call of Mrs Sue Gudinski, before hosting a morning tea for committee members of the War Widows Guild of Australia (Victoria).

Later, the Governor received the call of Her Excellency Dame Annette King, High Commissioner of New Zealand.
