The Governor received Sir Angus Houston AK AFC (Ret'd), Chair, Australian Cancer Research Foundation and later hosted a reception for the 25th anniversary of Carers Victoria.

Jenny Mikakos MP, appointed as Minister for Early Childhood Education and the Hon. Tim Pallas MP, appointed as Minister for Resources.
The Governor then hosted the 2017 Governor's Export Awards.

The Governor and Mr Howard then hosted the 2017 St John Ambulance Parade and Awards.

Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted a tour of the State Apartment for students from Victoria University Secondary School.
