In the evening, the Governor introduced Deakin University's 2017 Law Oration delivered by The Honourable Ranil Wickremesinghe, PM of Sri Lanka.
The Governor, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, delivered the address at the 2017 Committee for Geelong Annual Leadership Breakfast. In the evening, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC attended The Red Detachment of Women, performed by The National Ballet of China, at the Arts Centre.
The Governor presided at a meeting of Executive Council. The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC received the call of The Honourable Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Professor Wickramasinghe. In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a reception for the 50th anniversary of Melbourne Youth Orchestra.
