The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted the first of two 2016 Queen's Birthday Investitures of Australian Honours and Awards.  Later, the Governor and Mr Howard attended the 2016 CPA Australia Congress where the Governor gave the 14th Neil Walker Memorial Lecture.

The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. The Governor received the call of Mr Jim Miller, Chair, and Ms Adele McCarthy, Director of Strategy, Infrastructure Victoria. Later, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC visited the Phillip Island Nature Park, sister park with Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base, China.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC received the call of Mr Hitoshi Tanemura, Chairman of Noritake and Head of the Chubu Association of Corporate Executives delegation, and Mrs Tanemura. Later, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a reception for the National Youth Science Forum.

Mr Anthony Howard QC opened the 25th Anniversary Conference of the Australasian Military Medicine Association at Crown Promenade. Later, Mr Howard opened the Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens 'The Art of Botanical Illustration' Exhibition at Domain House.　

Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted a reception for artists participating in the 31st Melbourne Festival. Later, Mr Howard hosted Victoria's Multicultural Awards for Excellence.

Mr Anthony Howard QC received the call of Ms Su Robertson, Ms Jennifer O'Reilly and Ms Kathleen Raponi of the College of Law and Justice, Victoria University to discuss youth mentoring.

Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted a reception at Government House for Victoria's 2016 Centenarians. 

Mr Anthony Howard QC officially opened the O'Keeffe, Preston, Cossington Smith: Making Modernism Exhibition at the Heide Museum of Modern Art.

The Governor and Mr Howard hosted a reception and dinner for the 54th Annual Australia-Japan Joint Business Conference.

The Governor and Mr Howard hosted the Scouts Victoria Annual Queen's Scout and BP Awards.
