The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council; and later hosted a reception for delegates and supporters of the Yapaneyepuk Indigenous Education Symposium. The Governor swore in The Hon. Jacinta Allan MP, as Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade.
The Governor welcomed Professor Brechot and Dr Jouan from Institut Pasteur to Government House.
The Governor received a call from Mr Tony Ellwood, Director of National Gallery of Victoria; and welcomed to Government House HE Mr John Berry, United States Ambassador to Australia.
The Governor hosted a Welcome Reception for teachers and students from 15 of Victoria's sister schools in Jiangsu Province, China. Also, the Governor received calls from Dr Tim Soutphommasane, Race Discrimination Commissioner, and Mr Louis LeVaillant, Director of the Johnston Collection.
The Governor hosted a recital series concert for the winner of the 7th Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition; and later received a call from Lady Southey AC.
