While on a regional tour, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, received a briefing from the Warrnambool City Council. 

Then, the Governor toured South West TAFE.

Following this, the Governor visit Woodford Primary School for their 170th anniversary celebration.

In the afternoon, the Governor visited Deakin University’s Warrnambool Campus.

After this, the Governor toured the Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club. 

Later, the Governor visited the Warrnambool Art Gallery.

In the evening, the Governor attended and spoke at a Civic Reception hosted by the Warrnambool City Council.

While on a Regional Tour, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited the Hopkins Correctional Centre.

Then, the Governor travelled to Moyne Shire and received a briefing from the Moyne Shire Council.

Following this, the Governor attended a roundtable with business and community leaders.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, provided Royal Assent before presiding at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Then, the Governor commenced a Regional Tour, travelling to Ararat Rural City.

While on an Official Visit to Ararat Rural City, the Governor received a briefing from the Ararat Rural City Council.

Following this, the Governor visited AME Systems and Gason.

In the afternoon, the Governor visited the Gum San Chinese Heritage Centre before a tour of the Ararat Jobs & Technology Precinct at the Federation University Ararat Campus.

In the evening, the Governor attended and spoke at a Civil Reception hosted by the Ararat Rural City Council.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, received call of Archbishop Peter Comensoli, Archbishop of Melbourne.

Then, the Governor received the call of Anthony Bubalo, Chief Executive Officer, Asia Society Australia.

In the afternoon, the Governor welcomed the South Gisborne All Abilities Tennis Club to Government House.

Later, the Governor hosted a reception for the graduates and alumni of the Pathway to Politics program.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Then, the Governor received the call of Emmanuel Kakavelakis, Consul-General of Greece.

Later, the Governor received the call of Dr Louise Voll Box, Chief Executive Officer of The Johnston Collection.

Later, the Governor hosted a reception to thank people involved in the planning and delivery of the Governor’s Inauguration.

Then, the Governor hosted the 2024 Australia Day Reception.

Then, the Governor and Professor Davis hosted the Government House January Open Day.
