Later, Mr Anthony Howard AM KC led a tour of the State Apartments for students of St Catherine’s School before the Governor hosted them for a Q&A session.

In the afternoon, the Governor received the call of Tim Kane, Director, Victoria State Office, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC CVO, gave Royal Assent prior to presiding over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard AM KC, hosted an afternoon tea for Victorians celebrating their Platinum Wedding anniversary.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted His Excellency Mr Amir Maimon, Ambassador of Israel, for dinner.

Later, the Governor received the call of Stephen Lysaght, Consul- General of the United Kingdom.

Then, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard AM KC, attended the Diabetes Victoria 70th Anniversary Lunch where Mr Howard delivered an address.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC CVO, was represented by Superintendent Wayne Newman APM at the State Memorial for Emeritus Professor Derek Denton AC.

Later, Mr Anthony Howard AM KC, met with former tennis player Judy Dalton AM and Maureen Renton before welcoming participants of the Tennis Victoria Program to Government House.
