Later, the Governor received the call of His Excellency Mauricio Carvalho Lyrio, Ambassador of Brazil.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended The Wilds at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, as part of RISING Festival.
The Lieutenant-Governor, Professor James Angus AO, on behalf of the Administrator, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Earlier, Mr Anthony Howard AM QC conducted a tour with school students from Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar School of the State Apartments.
The Administrator and Mr Howard were interviewed about the Peace & Prosperity Kitchen Garden Program, and later toured the Regent Theatre.
The Administrator was represented at the State Memorial Service for the Honourable Dr Moses Henry Cass by Lieutenant Natasha Ellis.
The Administrator and Mr Howard attended the Aspen Island Renaming Ceremony at Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra.
The Administrator and Mr Howard travelled to Canberra, and attended a dinner at the Embassy of Israel.
The Administrator received the video call of the Honourable Arthur Sinodinos AO, Australian Ambassador to the United States.
Later in the morning, the Administrator and Mr Howard hosted a Gallipoli Lone Pine seedling planting event, and the Administrator received the call of Claire Febey, Chief Executive, Creative Victoria.
In the afternoon, the Administrator attended the Baking Industry Trade Show.
The Governor assumed the duties of Administrator of the Commonwealth of Australia.
The Administrator visited the Hellenic Museum and later, with Mr Howard, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Professor Margaret Gardner AC, President and Vice-Chancellor, Monash University.
The Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, and later received the call of Her Excellency Caroline Bichet-Anthamatten, Ambassador of Switzerland.
In the afternoon, the Governor officially opened the Victoria University City Tower Campus.
In the evening, the Governor attended the MinterEllison Women in Government Q&A.
The Governor and Mr Howard met with Kitchen Garden Program participants.
