Later, the Governor and Mr Howard attended the Victoria Racing Club Chairman's Dinner.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, received the call of Professor Ann Nicholson, Honorary Secretary of the Victorian Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee before hosting the Rhodes Scholarship panel meetings.
Later, the Governor hosted a lunch for Rhodes Scholarship Selection Panel Members and Candidates, before hosting the final selection panel meeting for the Rhodes Scholarship Committee, and then announcing the results to the candidates.
The Governor then, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosted a reception to publicly announce the 2020 Rhodes Scholarship.

Later, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted the Victorian Australian of the Year Awards.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosting a reception to announce the winners of the 2019 Victorian Senior of the Year Awards.
Later, the Governor conducted a private investiture.

Mr Anthony Howard AM QC led a tour of the State Apartments for Term 4 Kitchen Garden Program participants, and later, led a tour of the State Apartments for staff from Parliament House.
