The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted a reception for the 170th Anniversary of the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

They then attended the ANZAC Day March and Commemoration Service at the Shrine of Remembrance, followed by the ANZAC Day AFL match at the MCG.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council before receiving Mr Michael Kapel, Commissioner to the Americas.
With Mr Anthony Howard QC, the Governor met with Executive Command of Victoria Police and then the Governor received Her Excellency Madame Ðặng Thị Ngọc Thịnh, Vice President, The Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Mr Howard conducted a tour of the State Apartments for a delegation of lawyers from Jiangsu.
The Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, spoke at Melbourne Legacy's 87th Annual ANZAC Commemoration Ceremony for Students at the Shrine of Remembrance.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted the Australia Day Honours Investiture.
The Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, then spoke at the RSL Reception to mark the 103rd anniversary of ANZAC Day at ANZAC House.
