The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, attended a dinner with Hong Kong-Victoria alumni, and met with Edmund Lee, CEO, Hong Kong Design Centre.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, attended a reception for the 9th World Chinese Economic Summit 2017 followed by dinner hosted by the Mrs Hon Carrie Lam GBM, GBS, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, attended the Remembrance Day Service at the Shrine of Remembrance. The Governor then departed on an Official Visit to Hong Kong.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, presided over the swearing-in of Mr Ken Lay AO APM as 14th Lieutenant-Governor of Victoria.
Mr Anthony Howard QC attended the State Funeral for Sir Ninian Stephen KG AK GCMG GCVO KBE QC.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted the Melbourne Cup Eve Reception at Government House.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard QC, attended Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received the call of AFL umpire Ms Chelsea Roffey, then, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted the 2017 Churchill Fellowship Awards.
The Governor and Mr Howard then received the call of their Majesties King Letsie III and Queen Masenato Mohato of Lesotho.
The Governor and Mr Howard were represented by Lieutenant Scott Myers at the State Funeral for the Hon. Ian Robert Cathie
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received the call of Brig. David Westphalen, LTCOL Joshua Jardine and LTCOL David Cadogan-Cowper before receiving Mr Mukund Narayanamurti, CEO Asialink Business. The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC then attended As You Like It at the Pop Up Globe.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC presided over a meeting of Executive Council, before speaking at the Battle of Beersheba 100th anniversary commemoration ceremony, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC.
Later, they hosted a reception to mark the 30th anniversary of Crimestoppers.
Mr Howard hosted a tour for Year 7 History students from the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School.
