The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted a reception celebrating Victoria-India relations at Government House.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, then, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted a reception for the Centenarian Club.
The Governor received Ms Michelle Wade, Commissioner for Victoria to South Asia, and then Mr Lindsay Fox AC, founder of LinFox.
Mr Howard attended the NGV Women's Association Annual Spring Lunch.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received HE Dr Hugo Javier Gobbi, Ambassador of Argentina, then Prof. Craig Jeffrey, Director and Chief Executive Officer, Australia India Institute, followed by Mr Martin Enault, Chief Operating Officer, C2.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, opened the Melbourne Girls' Grammar Artemis Centre at Melbourne Girls' Grammar, before the Governor hosted the 2017 Victorian Landcare Awards at Government House.
The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC attended the State Memorial Service for the Honourable Fiona Richardson MP. The Governor and Mr Howard visited the Aardman & Code Breakers Exhibitions at ACMI, before the Governor received the call of Ms Manika Jain, Consul-General of India. The Governor and Mr Howard then hosted a reception for the Victoria Law Foundation.
The Governor an Mr Anthony Howard QC visited the RAAF Base and Museum in Point Cook before the Governor presided over an Investiture for Mr Michael Collins Persse MVO, OAM in Geelong.
The Governor and Mr Howard visited the City of Greater Dandenong where they met with the Mayor and members of the Indian Precinct Taskforce, before visiting Little India, the Indian Cultural Precinct in Dandenong.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council before visiting the RACV City Club.
The Governor received Mr Tony Bates PSM, Deputy Secretary, Governance Policy and Coordination, DPC, before the Governor, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted a reception 'Celebrating the West' at Government House.
The Governor then addressed the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians Dinner at Parliament House.
The Governor received Ms Jenny Bloomfield, State Director, DFAT then, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, spoke at the Francine McNiff Bequest at the Monash Law Chambers.
Mr Howard conducted a tour of the State Apartments with members of the U3A Moorabbin Moreland.
The Governor and Mr Howard attended a service for the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Kokoda at the Shrine of Remembrance.
The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC toured Latrobe Valley Enterprises, West Gippsland Performing Arts Centre and Gippsland Jersey Farm. The Governor presided at a special meeting of the Executive Council.
