In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted an Investiture Ceremony for recipients of Awards of the Order of Australia from the Australia Day Honours List.

In the afternoon, Mr Howard visited the Queer Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard met with Jeremi Moule, Secretary of the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Administrator received the call of the Hon Dr Lina Mendoni, Minister of Culture and Sports of Greece.
Later, the Administrator received the call of His Excellency Dr Thomas Fitschen, Ambassador of Germany, and Dr Ilona Stolken-Fitschen.

Later, the Administrator and Mr Howard visited the HMAS Hobart.
In the evening, the Administrator and Mr Howard attended a Ramadan Iftar Dinner hosted by Youth Activating Youth.
The Governor accompanied by Mr Howard, attended the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Shrine of Remembrance, where she spoke before laying a wreath on behalf of all Victorians.
Following the Dawn Service, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted an ANZAC Day breakfast, before attending the ANZAC Day March, in which the Governor led the Official Party.
In the afternoon, the Governor assumed the role of Administrator of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Later, the Administrator and Mr Howard attended the ANZAC Day Football game between Essendon Football Club and Collingwood Football Club at the MCG.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, was represented at the State Memorial Service for the Hon Ronald William Walsh by Superintendent Wayne Newman, of Victoria Police.
While on a Regional Visit to Shepparton, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, visited the Kaiela Institute, before visiting the Rumbalara Football Netball Club.
In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Howard met with Paul Briggs AM, Executive Chair of the Kaiela Institute, and Kaye Briggs, and later visited the Shepparton Art Museum.
