The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, departed Government House for a regional visit to the Surf Coast Shire.
While visiting the Surf Coast Shire, the Governor and Mr Howard visited the Australian Wool Museum, before laying a wreath at the Point Danger ANZAC War Memorial. Later, the Governor and Mr Howard received a briefing by the Surf Coast Shire Council, and a briefing on the CORA sports precinct development, before attending a roundtable with community members and representatives of local organisations.
Later, the Governor and Mr Howard visited local surf shops, and received a briefing on the surf industry.
