The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC visited patients recovering from injuries sustained in the Flinders Street tragedy.

The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, swore in The Hon. Justice Kim Hargrave QC as a Judge of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria, and Mr John Champion QC and Ms Michelle Quigley QC as Judges of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The Governor received the Hon. Matthew Guy MP, Leader of the Victorian Opposition and later presided over a special meeting of the Executive Council.
