The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, received the call of Naila Mazzucco, Commissioner for Southeast Asia.

In the afternoon, the Governor received the call of Dr Megan Clark AC, Chancellor, Monash University.

Then, the Governor received the welcome call of His Excellency Dr Elias Munshya, High Commissioner for Zambia, and Ms Yvonne Banda, First Secretary, Political and Administration.

In the evening, the Governor hosted the Royal Historical Society of Victoria’s 115th Anniversary Reception.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, hosted the Posthumous Honorary Doctorate Conferral Ceremony for the Honourable Simon Crean AC.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, provided Royal Assent before presiding at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, the Governor attended the 2024 Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards Dinner, where she received the Lifetime Achievement Award and delivered a keynote address.

In the morning at Government House, participants from Community Hubs in the City of Casey visited for the Kitchen Garden Program.

In the morning at Government House, members from Port Phillip Seniors Group visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments. 

While on a Regional Visit of West Wimmera Shire Council, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, gave a phone interview with ABC Radio Wimmera.

Concluding a Regional Visit of West Wimmera Shire Council, the Governor participated in a tree planting ceremony at Kaniva Wetlands and Fauna Park.

Then, the Governor visited Harrow Bush Nursing Centre.

Following this, the Governor visited Harrow Discovery Centre.

While on a Regional Visit of Hindmarsh Shire Council, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited the Luv-a-Duck Hatchery.

Then, the Governor visited a Luv-a-Duck growing shed.

Following this, the Governor visited the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre.

In the afternoon, the Governor visited Ahrens Silo Tarranyurk.

Later, the Governor visited and gave an address at Dimboola Memorial Secondary College for their Centenary Year at the site.

Following this, the Governor visited Grain Flow Dimboola.

Concluding a Regional Visit of Hindmarsh Shire Council, the Governor participated in a roundtable with local farmers.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Then, the Governor commenced a Regional Visit of Hindmarsh Shire Council.

In the afternoon, the Governor received a briefing from Hindmarsh Shire Council.

Following this, the Governor visited Paw Po Nhill.

Later, the Governor attended and gave an address at a Civic Reception.

In the evening, the Governor met with Councillors and Senior Management from Hindmarsh Shire Council, and Councillors from Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC,  received the call of Jayne Atkins, Chief Parliamentary Counsel.

Later, the Governor received the welcome call of Her Excellency Elisabeth Kögler, Ambassador of Austria, Eva Hussain, Honorary Consul-General of Austria in Melbourne and Ulrike Straka, Trade Commissioner and Consul-General of Austria in Sydney.

In the afternoon, the Governor met with Professor James Angus AO, Lieutenant-Governor of Victoria.

Then, the Governor received the welcome call of His Excellency Gopal Baglay, High Commissioner for India, and Tej Krishan, Acting Consul General of India in Melbourne.

In the evening, the Governor hosted the 30th Anniversary of Deakin University in India Reception.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, attended a tour of Public Record Office Victoria.

In the afternoon, the Governor received the call of the Honourable Enver Erdogan MLC, Minister for Corrections, Youth Justice and Victim Support, and Graeme Cuxson, Chief of Staff.
