The Governor opened the National Public Sector Managers and Leaders Conference 2016; and attended the Islamic Museum of Australia for International Women's Day High Tea. The Governor also attended the Department of Health and Human Services Children's Day at the 2016 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grant Prix. In the evening, the Governor and Judge Howard hosted a reception to mark the 2016 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix.

On the occasion of International Women's Day 2016, the Governor addressed Pascoe Vale Girls College students and attended a meeting of The Queen's Fund at Melbourne Town Hall. She then hosted an Afternoon Tea at Government House; and in the evening accompanied by Judge Howard, delivered the keynote address at the Institute of Public Administration Australia Victoria Annual International Women's Day Gala Dinner.
