The Governor received a call from Mr Sean Linkson, Executive Chairman; and Mr Stephen Barrow, Non-Executive Director, of the Pinnacle Foundation.
The Governor spoke and presented awards at the 2016 Premier's VCE Awards.
The Governor hosted a reception for the Stars Foundation.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council; and received a call from the Hon Fiona Richardson MP, Minister for Women and Minister for the Prevention of Family Violence.
Her Excellency, the Hon. Linda Dessau AM, Governor of Victoria, accompanied by her husband, His Honour Judge Anthony Howard QC, attended the Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Shrine of Remembrance; and afterwards hosted the annual Anzac Day Breakfast at Government House. In the afternoon, the Governor and Judge Howard attended the Anzac Day March and Commemoration Service; and the 2016 Anzac Day AFL match at the MCG.
The Governor attended Legacy's 85th Commemoration Ceremony for Students at the Shrine of Remembrance.
The Governor hosted a reception for the Mac.Robertson Girls High School; and attended the State Government luncheon to commemorate Anzac Day. In the evening, the Governor and Judge Howard attended the RSL reception to mark the 101st Anniversary of Anzac Day.
The Governor received Mr Julian McMahon, 2016 Victorian Australian of the Year; and Ms Jenny Bloomfield, State Director of Victoria, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Later, the Governor and Judge Howard welcomed HE Mr Sumio Kusaka, Ambassador of Japan and Mrs Ikuko Kusaka to Government House and hosted a dinner in their honour.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council; and later invested Mr Simon McKeon AO as Chancellor of Monash University in Clayton.
The Governor and Judge Howard attended the Annual ANZAC Commemoration Service at St Paul's Cathedral.
